TRAINING
Melissa uses the classical training pyramid as a foundation for all training prospects. She puts clients’ goals first with a realistic approach, prioritizing communication and updates with clients. She trains horses to achieve proper self-carriage, riding the horse from behind. She focuses on keeping horses happy and balanced, and to learn transitions in a soft and supple manner. Once horses’ are mentally and physically capable, pole, grid and over-fence work will be incorporated into training if aligned with clients’ goals. We also offer ground driving and driving training. SALES
Our goal with sales is to achieve the most suitable, caring and long-term home for each horse. Realistic assessments and our understanding of ride-ability has provided fantastic homes for over 150 horses all over North America. It is recognized when horses are in need of rehabilitation services and with transparency the best long-term homes are strived for and achieved.
