Learn to ride:
One hour private session involving learning safe and essential skills from grooming, leading, tying, tacking, important anatomy terms and mounting a horse. All riders are guided to be comfortable, confident and competent around horses on the ground, as well as learning the basics in the saddle. Ages 5+.

Private & Group Lessons:
One hour sessions involving horsemanship skill-building, fun & technical exercises and bio-mechanic equitation guidance. Our lessons revolve around teaching a dressage foundation. From understanding rhythm, suppleness, and connection between horse and rider on the flat and over fences. Competitive or recreational goals are set between coach and rider. Novice to advanced riders welcome. Ages 5+.

ADDITIONAL LESSON INFORMATION

Riders must wear an ASTM or SEI approved riding helmet while mounted. Riders under 18 must wear an ASTM or SEI approved riding helmet when working around the horses. Approved helmets will be provided to best fit and function, however it is recommended that each rider buys their own helmet for sanitary reasons and best fit. Long hair should always be tied back in a ponytail.

Beginners should wear comfortable stretch pants or riding breeches. Jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses are not allowed to be worn in the saddle.

Boots with a half inch to an inch heel are to be worn. Rubber boots are okay for beginners.

All Learn to Ride riders are to arrive 5 minutes prior to the riding lesson. Riders in Private and Group lessons are to arrive a minimum of 20 minutes prior to the riding lesson to ensure proper groom and tack up time. After the lesson, a minimum of 20 minutes should be given for untacking, grooming, and cleaning up after your horse. Group lessons are limited to 3 riders per session.

Lesson payments are due on a per session basis. Please advise us with a minimum 24-hour cancellation notice if necessary. If cancellations are not addressed within a 24-hour notice, payment will be due upon receipt.
