We are a new facility located in Hantsport, Nova Scotia. Our facility offers 225 acres, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, kilometres of private trail riding, excellent turnout and much more. At Coach Hill, we take pride in providing quality care to your horse and giving instruction in an uplifting and safe environment.

 

BOARDING

 

  • A 10’x12’ well bedded box stall with AM & PM grain program fed to suit. We feed Purina Honesty and Beet Pulp. Deworming is included and administered 2x/year. Free choice forage and hay, salt, auto water (installed for year round fresh water) and an adequate pasture for your equine partner. Daily blanketing and booting is included. We ensure herd compatibility and pastures are built with wooden 6”x6” posts and 2”x6” boards. Pastures are cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.

LESSONS

 

  • Learn the essentials including safety skills of being in the presence of a horse; to mastering the basics with established confidence and comfort in the saddle.

  • Focus on specific skills, develop or refine confidence and grow your horsemanship expertise. One-on-one privates allow riders to excel and reach their desired competitive or recreational goals.

  • Tune up your skills in fun, engaging and team building group lessons. Riders of the same level are grouped together. Availability is limited.

EVENTS

TRAINING + SALES

 

  • Specializing in starting, retraining, correcting problem behaviours, and establishing fitness for horses. It is mandatory for horses to receive an initial assessment to recommend an appropriate program type and length. Program types and lengths vary based on the horse's abilities and the goals and expectations of the owner.

  • Our goal with sales is to achieve the most suitable, caring and long-term home for each horse. Realistic assessments and our understanding of ride-ability has provided fantastic homes for over 150 horses all over North America. We offer train-to-sell packages, commission based, advertising and in-search-ofs.
